Privacy Notice

How Make Sense Logic collects, uses and protects personal information when you use our website, complete a planner or contact us.

Last updated: 18 September 2026

1. Who we are

Make Sense Logic is the trading identity used by Make Sense Limited for its technology, digital services and learning activities. For the personal information described in this notice, Make Sense Limited is the data controller.

You can contact us through the contact form on our website. Please write “Privacy” in your message if your enquiry concerns personal information.

2. Information we collect

We collect information that you choose to give us and limited technical information produced when you use the website.

Please do not send confidential, special-category or unnecessary personal information through our public forms.

3. How we use your information

  • To answer enquiries and communicate with you.
  • To review your requirements and recommend an appropriate service, learning route or supported path.
  • To prepare proposals, agree work and deliver requested services.
  • To administer contracts, payments and business records.
  • To protect our website, forms and services from spam, fraud, misuse and security threats.
  • To understand and improve our website and services where analytics consent has been given.
  • To meet legal, regulatory, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

5. Cookies, local storage and analytics

Essential technologies may be used to make forms work, maintain security, remember consent choices or save a draft on your device. These are used only where necessary for the service you request.

If we enable Google Analytics or another non-essential analytics service, it may collect usage information and place cookies. We will ask for your consent before activating non-essential analytics on your device. You can refuse or withdraw that consent without losing access to the main website.

Current analytics position: this notice allows for analytics, but adding an analytics tag alone is not sufficient. A consent control must prevent the analytics tag from running until the visitor accepts analytics cookies.

6. Who we share information with

We may use trusted service providers for website hosting, email, form delivery, security, analytics, document storage, communications and professional advice. They may process information only as needed to provide their service and under appropriate safeguards.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business reorganisation. Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we use an approved transfer mechanism or rely on another lawful safeguard.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, accounting and dispute-resolution requirements. Unsuccessful or inactive enquiries are reviewed and removed when no longer needed. Contract and financial records may be retained for the periods required by law.

Browser-saved planner drafts are controlled from your device and may remain until you submit the form or clear the draft or browser data.

8. How we protect information

We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls, secure transmission where available, form protections and limited access to business systems. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we review safeguards as our services develop.

9. Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • ask for access to your personal information;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • ask us to erase information;
  • ask us to restrict processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive certain information in a portable format; and
  • withdraw consent at any time where consent is the lawful basis.

These rights are not absolute and exemptions can apply. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10. Children

This business website and its enquiry forms are intended for adults acting for themselves, a business or an organisation. We do not knowingly use the site to collect personal information directly from children.

11. Contact and complaints

To exercise a right or raise a privacy concern, contact us through the Make Sense Logic contact form and write “Privacy” in your message. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible and within any period required by law.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first. Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint for current guidance.

12. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The latest version will appear on this page with its revision date.
